Pre-Map Hearing – Presentation to the Subcommittee around the principles of districting, opportunity for pre-map public input on communities of interest. Presentation from the public of any maps identifying communities, discussion of preferences of neighborhoods, geographic or other features that should be considered in drawing of public plans.

Third Hearing
A hearing before the City Council with the introduction of a set of City Council Districts plans, with discussion on changes to plans and a recommendation on plan or plans to be discussed in the February City Council Meeting. All plans would need to be posted at least 7 days prior to the meeting under the provisions of CVRA Safe Harbor.
February, 28 2022
Fourth Hearing
A second hearing with public and City Council input with the goal of having the City Council select a single map that will be the final map to go to a vote at the final City Council Meeting. Recommended plan or plans would need to be posted at least 7 days prior to the meeting under the provisions of CVRA Safe Harbor.
March, 28 2022
Fifth Hearing
A final hearing before the City Council for the approval of a final plan with election selection. The final plan must be public for at least seven days prior to the meeting.
